Neglectful

I'm getting lousy in the blogging department.  For some reason, blogging has dropped on my priority list...no kidding, right?

Anyways, for those family members and relatives (and anyone else who falls in the people who love me category)(oh, and since I don't like anyone to be left out, let's also include the people who read this blog to find something to hold against me category, too...*smiles* -- really, i'm laughing) who use this to keep up with me, and have been sadly left wondering, you have my most sincere apologies.

Yes, mother.  You'd be in the first category.  You, too, Aunt C!  LOL.

For what it's worth, my brain has been in somewhat of a slush lately, due to all the things churning around in there, so it's probably better for all involved that I HAVEN'T blogged, but regardless.  I'll try to do better.

I seem to have the best of intentions, and life just keeps getting in the way. And I'm not just talking about blogging anymore.

Tonight for instance.  I got both of the computers going, to try to finish uploading and downloading all my stuff to the new computer.  Unfortunately, I had to turn it over to my tech support guy (also known as my sweet hubby), who ended up commandeering it for the remainder of the evening.  Tell me why an anti-virus program with a one year subscription that came with my computer would suddenly turn on it, (in only a few weeks of having this NEW computer!) and attack my computer and refuse to be un-installed...and generally behave like the viruses it's supposed to PREVENT?  NOT HELPFUL.  Not helpful at all.

And my to-do list...oh dear heavens.  I LOOK at it and it grows longer.  And my old friend PROCRASTINATION has wreaked havoc on that list, too.

I find myself wanting to dig a hole and crawl in it.  A hole that DOESN'T have room for that to-do list.  Since I don't have a hole, I guess my bed will do.  *huge sigh*  It has for the last few days anyhow.  Ha.  But one can only put these things off for so long...then there's trouble!

Another mental issue I've been wrestling with is...well, I really don't want to talk about it, but it's been a struggle, and I find that sometimes when you're struggling with things you don't want to talk about but maybe you SHOULD talk about, it makes it difficult to get on and blog about everyday things.  To further complicate the matter, the people who read your blog are probably not the people you SHOULD talk about your issues with....and if you talked about it in code just in case the people who SHOULD be reading it DID read your blog, it would probably totally confuse them AND everyone else who you didn't want to talk about it to. Not to mention, you probably wouldn't ever know if you had talked to the right people or not....sheesh.  Was that confusing?  I told you I had mental issues.  =)  Never mind.  Scratch all that.  It's not something that I'd blog about even if I DID feel like talking.

And now that I've said a whole lot of nothing, I think I shall go find that hole bed and crawl into it.  But first I'll have to clean off all the clean laundry that is still waiting to be folded.  URGH.

I'll take care of that list.  TOMORROW.

Oh and call me a complete idiot, but I hopped on another photo hunt for May.  I'm hoping that since I managed it during the busy-ness of April, that I'll be able to do it again for May.  LOL.

Here's what I'm looking for this month:

  1. a souvenir
  2. a fish
  3. a religious building
  4. a fire department
  5. a manhole cover
  6. a postcard
  7. water
  8. a communication device
  9. a Life event
  10. a foreign stamp
  11. a tree
  12. the living space of a non-human
  13. a street mirror
  14. a decoration fixed on a house
  15. a foreign flag
  16. a fire
  17. an antenna
  18. a phone booth
  19. a “verboten” sign
  20. a beach
  21. a cityscape
  22. something goofy
  23. something carved
  24. an eye
  25. something rural

So if you see me running around with a camera taking pictures of unusual objects, this is why.  Hah!  But that's assuming you see me....I may be hiding in my hole bed....not that I would be able to take pictures of any of these items while hiding in my hole bed.....LOL.  ANYWHO.
