*Huge Sigh*

Drah-ma, drah-ma, DRAH-MA!  Not my thing.  I can deal with your Basic, Everyday, Low-key drama…(I mean, really…I’m a girl…I have my own fair share of BEL-K d) but then when it turns in to drahhhhh-maaaa….and so on…wellll…..

I hate that.

Today was not a “BEL-K d” day.  Consequently, I keep hearing myself suck in and heave huge sighs every few minutes.

I have friends and family who are facing serious, life threatening or life altering health issues…and really I should just stop with that because that totally makes all my other current brain fodder seem super trivial.

Yeah, I need to figure out my best option for cell phone service, I’m thinking about switching from verizon because I am so frustrated with them lately, but in light of what other people are facing, the great cell phone service provider debate seems like a totally shallow thing to be pondering.  (Although if you’d like to weigh in on the best plan with the best phone for the best price, of course I’d be interested in hearing it…lol)

Yes, I got frustrated by stupid things today.  Yes, I went to Sonic and ordered a Rt 44 Dr. Pepper because I needed a fix.  No, I didn’t get my house totally clean today and I’m never 100% on top of the laundry.  My cell phone is still as dumb as I am.  And sometimes I don’t think I’ll ever get all my ducks in a row or figure it all out.

But none of that is really important.

1 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. 2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: He leadeth me beside the still waters. 3 He restoreth my soul:  (Psalm 23:1-3)

The important thing is that God is always there offering wisdom and peace and grace and mercy and bringing me back to hope.

Your grace and mercy, brought me through
I'm living this moment because of You
I want to thank You, and praise You too
Your grace and mercy, brought me through…

I’m so undeserving.  But thankful with all my heart.

Pinterest Rocks

I don’t get very much time to browse these days but I found this one on there a few weeks ago and I really like this quote.

It’s such a nice way to say “mind your own business.”  LOL.

As someone who spends lots of time working hard on that very thing, I can vouch for the fact that it’s definitely easier to say it than to do it.

It’s way easier to assume and cast judgment based on your limited perceptions of people and situations, than it is to remember that you yourself have been on the receiving end of unmerited grace more often than you deserve and that you should just mind your own business.

It’s human nature.  But that doesn’t mean it should be acceptable.  And I’m talking about myself…which is why I try to spend more time improving myself than criticizing others.

Good Day…

Well, I made it in before Wednesday, which seems to be my day for blogging…but just by the skin of my teeth.  LOL.

Do teeth have skin anyway?

_MG_2945ewebSo it’s not been a spectacular day or anything but the pictures I did yesterday turned out well (Thank God…I always fret that something will go wrong), and I got lots of exercise, and I didn’t have to battle anyone over homework, and I woke up this morning, and the PMS pills finally did their job, and I gained a little self-confidence…………

All things considered, a good day.

So I got a phone call the other day, and in the conversation, my blog was likened to a suspense novel that never ends and you never find out the answers, so from henceforth on, I’ll do my best to keep my vague references to my personal difficulties to a minimum.  I won’t tell you who it was or what our conversation is about, because some people might not like it.  Uh…maybe I should try harder.  ROFL!

But it’s like I told them…it’s not that I really care all that much what people think of me (although…I really don’t want people to hate me…who really does?), I just know that if I spoke my mind on any number of topics, there are a number of people who might not exactly hate me, but I would never hear the end of it…and I just don’t wanna have to deal with some things.

I think I’m right, they think they’re right, and I prefer amiable relationships to constant debate.  So some topics are better left un-talked about.

So now I’m un-talking.

How did I get here again?

Yeah, it was a good day.  Hopefully a good night to follow.

And last night I had REALLY strange dreams.  No, I mean seriously weird dreams.  So weird that I can only remember random bits and pieces that wouldn’t even make sense to try to piece together, so I’m not even going to bother.  And since I’m coherent, I won’t bother by accident either.  KC likes to get me talking right when I’m still half asleep from a dream and think I’m still there, so I say really weird things and then as I become fully awake, I realize how goofy what I’m saying sounds and that he is laughing at me.  Thankfully, neither one of us ever remember the next morning, other than the fact that we had a conversation and one of us was laughing.  LOL.

Okay…I’m leaving now.  Sweet dreams. =)

I’ll Come Back To This

I can’t think of a title for this post, so I’ll come back to it…but perhaps leaving it would be a much more appropriate title than anything I could come up with…since that seems to be my motto lately.  LOL.  I don’t think I have posted since the pain from those stings finally subsided.  LOL.

And yes, it DID finally subside.  My poor finger was swollen for around 7 days before it went away completely.  Surprised smile I’m so glad it is gone now.  KC weed-eated yesterday.  I didn’t offer…lol.

It’s 4:16 on a Wednesday and it will be time for church pretty soon, but since I’ll be gone for most of the evening I figured if a post was going to happen, it better be now.

We have been a travelling troop the last few weeks.  This last time was a trip to Ohio.  I am so thankful that my parents live nearby now…and not just because they are awesome house and puppy sitters, although I can’t say I’m not loving that part…cause I totally am!  *GRIN*  Anyway, I took a few pictures in Ohio but here’s one that I love:

KC totally cracked me up with the white hair!  And it was a fun trip…mostly.  I won’t even go into the NoT fun part though.  That part only God gets to hear about…lol.

That makes me think of a quote I saw the other day…

Patience: What parents have when there are witnesses.

ROFL!

Any-ka-who.

My grandma in NY isn’t doing very well again (although I’m thankful she’s still with us, since they told her over a year ago that she only had a month or two left…she’s 85 and has cancer for the—I think—3rd time).  So I’m going to fly up with dad next week.  KC won’t be going this time, and KC’s mom had already wanted to take the kids that weekend, so he will just have to take care of the doggy-poos.  Hopefully, it will work out well.  Except that he’ll miss the fire out of me, particularly when he has to feed and walk the puppies himself.  He will be all bonded with them when I get back.  hahahaahaha

K-man just shot me.  With the wordsuckerupinator that he broke and turned into a gun.  That’s what he said.

In other news, I took two shirts back to the store today and they had a huge clearance sale, so I exchanged the two shirts for six and STILL got three dollars and change back.  I LOVE that!  It’s the little things that make me happy.  =)

Something else that makes me happy??  Pinterest.  It’s like a virtual pinboard where you have an account and you pin stuff on your boards and then when you need to remember that thing you saw online that was really cool and you want to try it…you just go back to your bulletin board.  Isn’t that nifty?  You have to have an invite to join, so if you want to join, holla and I’ll send you an invite…but it’s really neat!  And you can follow friend’s pins and everything…so fun!

These are just a few of my pins…hahah….some things are just funny, some are things I want to try, some are inspiring…you name it.  Lots of fun!

And I have an app for my iPod, so muy addicting!  hahaha.

Well, now I have blathered on for awhile now and it’s time to get ready for church.  Mom, you happy that I’ve posted again now?  =)  This post is dedicated to my mother, who faithfully reads my blog and lovingly nudges me when it gets neglected. Winking smile  LOVE YOU MOMMA!  LOL!

Adios for now!  =)

Guess What Day It Is…

Not Wednesday, but in case you didn’t notice, Wednesday is almost here—aGAIN!!  As K-man so stated the other day, “Dear Heavenly FATH-er!”  LOL.  And that’s what I did, too…to which he replied, “I told you to stop laughing at me! Don’t do it a-GAIN!”  (He likes to accent random parts of the words.)

ANYWAY!  May is over half gone and I’ve blogged twice.  Is that awful or what?!

I actually have a good reason this week…we went to Ohio last Thursday through Sunday and I didn’t take my computer so no internet access to speak of…and then yesterday was unpacking and laundry a-GAIN!  LOL.

This morning was errands and running around…needed an oil change, well-check for the K-man, yada yada, so I need to get busy on the house now but wanted to check in before it got to be another hump day and then another downhill slide from there….*grin*

Here’s a little bit of our trip (with some of my old memories thrown in) and I’ll try to get more of the trip posted before the weekend.  =)

Our family of four went to Ohio last weekend and the first night there, we stayed with my childhood best friend and her family of five.  We had a great visit (as always) and then it was time to put our three girls and two boys to bed.  When we tucked the three girls into her girls' bed, I had almost instant flashbacks.

That was totally us!  Her mom had two girls and a boy, my mom had a girl and a boy.  I was pretty close in age to my best friend and her sister was younger but we all did everything together.  I remember sleeping in the middle of the two of them MANY times.  We stayed up for hours past our bedtime, giggling and talking, long after everyone else was in bed.  And eventually, we'd fall asleep.  And then we'd wake up the next morning to go find more trouble to get into.

As I walked past their door to get something from the room that KC and I were staying in, I looked in and saw them trying to stay quiet while they were trying not to break the staying in bed rule by doing all kinds of gymnastics and hanging onto each others legs to pick up something off the floor without getting out of bed, I couldn't get mad.  Even though it was midnight and all of them should have been asleep hours before, I just couldn't get mad.  I shushed them just like our moms did to us, and then I smiled, waited for them to finally fall asleep, and then ran to get my camera -- and my ol' pal, who came in and told me to climb up on the bookshelf to get the best shot...  just like old times!

Am I Coming…

Or going? I’ve SOOOO lost track.

Shooo. This is going to be so random.

I updated my blog tonight. I uploaded a new header and then remember that the kit I’m using hasn’t been released yet. POOOH. So the colors down here? Are a sneak peek of my summer look…it’s from a new kit that is named after a popular summer refreshment and I lurve it! I will upload the new header on May 4th. Basically, it’s the same header with new colors. Winking smile Don’t you love how I didn’t leave you in suspense at all? Yeah. Okay. **EDITED TO ADD: woohoo...Cara gave me permission to post my header a little early!! Love this kit, it's called Raspberry Limeade and if you are like me and have no patience, shhhhh, don't tell anyone, but...here's a link and you can grab it before it's officially released.**

I saw a random line in one of those forward things that someone had posted on their blog awhile back and it is now my favorite all time facebook status. And oh, is it SO true!? “Don't get your knickers in a knot; it solves nothing and makes you walk funny.” Seems like there’s a lot of people walking funny these days. Sometimes I think I offend people just by my mere existence. Doesn’t anyone have anything better to do than look for things to be offended over? Boy, howdy, I sure do!

I saw another line of that same forward that said something along the lines of a woman’s greatest fear is that there is no such thing as PMS and this IS my personality….lol…I laugh, but oh my. Today I just got up on the WRONG side of the bed, Munchkin got up way too early and in the process woke ME up and then she was just downright annoying. (Although, I don’t blame her, EVERYONE is downright annoying when I have to get up early…bwahaha). And then of course, NOTHING went right…I had planned to Munchkin’s little family birthday at five-thirty today (it’s her off year, so just small party), but then they scheduled revival at church so I had to move it back to 4. Then last night they announced that service had moved back to six, so I had to move it again, and in order to get done in time, we had to move the venue, which meant a whole change of menu as well, which meant another shopping trip….and then the stupid cupcake dogs which were supposed to look like this:

WELL. Let’s just say they looked NOTHING like that. They resembled something more like the head of THIS dog: (only without the nose and mouth…yep…just a white mound)

And my husband --- God bless his heart – laughed. Did I mention something about early mornings, changing plans, and PMS? I think I may have. I think I may have gotten grouchy. I also may have eaten the rest of the icing meant for the cupcake puppies flops (such a healthy breakfast) and then told my hubby that he could add a store bought cake to the new menu. I mean, why not…the rest of it changed…old things are passed away, behold ALLLLLLLL things………………………

I am way too tired…I’m getting goofy.

Okay. Goof-IER!

Anyway. It made my day when we got to the new venue for the little party and I’m in the middle of hanging a few streamers and balloons when my hubby comes back from his cake buying run and announces to me that he’s apparently decided to start a new fashion trend.

210469_10150167761567850_692167849_6492900_552470_o

And we’re half an hour away from home, so he can’t just run back to the house to get matching shoes, so he has to wear them for the rest of the evening….and church (BWAHAHA). I was just glad I wasn’t the ONLY one having a day like that…AND I was glad that I could return the favor of laughing at his “icing on the cake” moment. ROFL!

Well…all I can say is we made it through the day. Alive.

What a relief!

Dancing Like Wolves

After church on the way home last night we IMG_94623stopped to pick up a snack from…”You know when it’s real” because we weren’t in the “I’m lovin’ it” mood…(LOL).

K-man: Daddy, can I have my drink?
KC: Yes, one sip.  And then you can have another sip before bed, but you can’t have the whole thing because you’ll P the bed.  P boy.  (said with humor…he wasn’t being mean…lol)
K-man: Don’t say that.
KC: Boy P
K-man: Don’t say that a-GAIN.  If you say that again…I’ll….shake your hand.
KC: Really?
K-man: Yes.  Is that okay?  Does that work for you?
KC: Well…I guess so. (trying to hide laughter)
K-man: Cause your phone makes me dance.
KC: (looking at Faith with a confused look on his face) Really?
K-man: Yeah.  Like a WOLF!
KC AND Faith: Oh-KAY?????!!!!

Kids do say the funniest things….  Munchkin told me this morning that while I was gone yesterday, that Daddy played the “com-piano” and he was very good.  LOL.

And today K-man told me that Munchkin has a Chicka-WaWa.  I was like, a what?  “A shi….shick….uh…chick-a-wawa!  You know, her little dog??”

Sunday Drive

Took me a little longer than usual to get home tonight.  I was driving through one of the little burgs that we have to drive through to get to church…the ones that are speed traps because the posted speed is 35mph and your car always wants to do at least 50…anyways, so I decided to take one of those leisurely out-of-the-way drives.

Well, see, here’s the story: it was just me and K-man in the car (KC wasn’t feeling good and stayed home with the Munchkin) and BECAUSE it was just the other two of us in the car, I was singing a bee-boppin church song from tonight’s service and was bee-bopping along at a pace which matched the bee-boppin song without realizing that I was already in that little speed trap town.  And then there was the moment when I suddenly noticed the car that just went by me (going the other direction) and that there were reflective stickers on the side of that car that read “highway patrol” and then I looked at my speed and…

Then I decided to take a fork in the road that was just a “different” way home…to um…look at some Christmas lights.  LOL.  I haven’t told KC this part of the story…yet…lol.  Not that it’s a secret or anything.  =)  Because he always thinks I’m the only one that ever goes by a cop while doing 50 in a 35…and I will have you know that he is guilty just as often as I—only he never gets caught.  Watch…this will be the day he decides to read my blog.  LOL…KC, if you’re reading this, then HI HONEY!  I LOVE YOU! *GRIN*  And honey, you have to admit, there have been a few instances where YOU’VE taken a detour to avoid a speeding ticket, so no getting mad, okay?  ;-)

Tonight, I took a page out of his book—and didn’t get caught.  ;-)  THANK GOD!  I did have a moment of panic when I wasn’t sure where I was, out in the middle of no-where, with an empty tank of gas, and by myself in the dark, but I didn’t panic.  I just turned on the GPS and decided that my little detour was perfect because it took me out and around and right by the gas station.  ;-)  So I just went to get gas…the long way.

LOL.  Dear God, thank you for watching out for me, in spite of every moment of ditzy carelessness that I seem to be all too capable of…

My Jesus knows just what I need.  Oh yes, He knows just what I need.
He satisfies and every need supplies, Yes, He knows just what I need.

I was thankful already tonight, but there’s just one MORE thing to be thankful for…lol.

K-man cracked me up on the way home though…

”MOM!  I saw a NIGHT LIGHT!  A CHRISTMAS night light!”

“The clawwwww…you have saved our lives, we are eternally grateful.” (he was quoting toy story out of the blue…lol)

“I love water!  And milk.  And juice.  And watermelon.  Because it’s red.  And cheeseburgers.”  (he’s so random…I wonder where he gets that?  LOL!)

I love cheeseburgers, too.  (teehehe)  Goodnight.

Thursday, December 02, 2010

YUM…*gag*

Tonight at supper (which FYI was rice and baked beans for me and Munchkin, sandwiches for the honey, mini frozen burgers for the K-man…gotta cater to my picky eaters, you know…lol):

K-man has his mini cheeseburgers on his plate and I’m dishing out the rice and beans to myself and the Munchkin.

K-man: “Mom, what’s in that one?” pointing at the pot
Mom: “Beans.  That’s why I fixed you cheeseburgers.”
“I want some.”
“BEANS?!  …..Um…okay.” prepares to scoop
”Just one.”
“You mean just a little?”
”No, just one.”
”ONE bean?!?”
”Yeah.”
“Well, alright.” singles out one solitary baked bean and plops it on his plate
”Thank you.”
”You’re welcome, now get busy eating.”

momentary silence

K-man picks up the little round bean and puts in his mouth.  His face crinkles up and he visibly gags and then swallows it down.

Dad: “How was it?”
K-man: “Good.”
Mom: “Want some more?”
K-man: “No, thank you.”

LOL….we cracked up.  At least he was polite about it and TRIED something different.  I have hope for less embarrassing future social interactions now… ROFL!  SOOOO funny!

Oh…also so funny…I was informed by Munchkin that she fell in love today.  Her little friend on the bus told her he loved her “with his own mouth and then he gave me the ‘I love you’ sign.” today…so now she doesn’t just LIKE him, she is IN LOVE!  LOLOL!

Whew…

Going through photos for the year.  Some months I took LOTS of pictures…and then some months…well…I haven’t been so hot on photos this month.  OH WELL.

It’s making me a little sad though…the puppies were…ahem…PUPPIES just a few months ago.

And happy, too…the house was in desperate need for a complete paint job just a few months ago…LOL!  Not so much now.  YAY!  =)

And a few times, I’ve laughed.  Like when I looked at all the PROJECT photos I took this year.  And remembered the day that K-man took a jug out to the recycle bin for me and cheerfully said, “that’s right, mama, reduce, reUSE, REEEcycle!”  Bwahahaha….We do a lot of re-USING around here.  Love it!  =)

It ended up being much later than I thought it was and I’m still not finished, so the blog post that was in my mind is zapped.  I will hopefully come back tomorrow.  LOL.

Oh and I’m thankful that my sore throat is feeling better.  =)  And that Munchkin’s sore throat is feeling better.  And that so far, no one else is sick.

Say Your Words

K-man: (building with lincoln logs) I’m gonna make a Fire Am Partmet.
Mom: A fire Umpartment?
K-man: Nooo.  Say your words!
Mom: A fire DE-partment? (very clearly)
K-man: Thank you.  Yes.  A fire am partment.

????

Um.  Well.  Right.

STOP LAUGHING!

KC: Are you going to wash our vehicle this week?
Faith: Um…..
K-man: It’s not a vehicle.  It’s a CRAZY vehicle.
Faith: Crazy vehicle?
KC: So are you going to wash the CRAZY vehicle?
K-man: Don’t say ve—vecih—vecile--
KC: Vehicle?
K-man: Don’t say it!  Don’t say veh—vecihl—vecichle!
Faith: laughing (because he said it right the first time and now he’s all tongue twisted)
K-man: Stop laughing!  I said QUIT LAUGHING!

Okay then.

Tonight I’m thankful for our crazy vecichel.  =)  And for my crazy family.  And for laughter.  =)

I Own Facebook

Hey…did ya’ll know I own facebook?  Me either.  But according to my MIL, my daughter is POSITIVE that I do.

Munchkin: “My mom OWNS facebook.”
Mawmaw: “I think you mean she HAS a facebook…and a blog.”
Munchkin: “Yeah, I know about that blog, but my momma OWNS facebook!”

ROFL.

Anyways.  Today, I’m thankful that our pool is CLOSED!  We have spent like hours and hours and hours trying to figure out how to winterize the pump/filter/pipes and KC finally figured out what was wrong.  The seal on one of the important pump parts wasn’t on good…it had stretched out and when KC took it off and very carefully squeezed it back on so the seal was good again, everything just fell into place.  Of course, we still had to spend hours and hours and hours filling up all gazillion and one water bags and stretching the cover over and placing all gazillion bags on the cover…..and it was stinking FREEZING outside and sticking my hands in the water nearly gave me frostbite…well…I’ll stop complaining and just say I’m thankful it’s done.  LOL!

I’m so tired.  My eyes are kinda glazing over.  Tonight is the time change, so it’s really an hour earlier than what my computer says…which is an hour before I usually go to bed anyway.  That means, it’s really TWO hours before my usual bedtime.  And I’m ready to go now.  YIKES.  =)  Oh WELL.  =)  Goodnight anyway.  =)

Friday, November 05, 2010

Ahhh.

Today I’m thankful for health.  Even when I’m sick (although, thank the Lord, I AM feeling better now), I’m still thankful for overall good health.  I’m also thankful for Advil Cold and Sinus and Alkaseltzer Cold fizzy tabs.

“I’m not a big fat panda!  …I’m THE big fat panda.”

Sorry.  I know that was random.  I just got sidetracked watching KungFu Panda that KC turned on to fall asleep to…lol.  He makes like he’s going to watch a movie and then I get all comfy on my computer and I look over and he’s sleeping and I end up watching the movie.  LOL.  My favorite line from that movie is the little kungfu master getting all frustrated with the Panda and sitting there going, “I-i-i-in-in-inner peaccccce, i-i-inner peace…”  I use that line a lot.  LOL.  ;-)

And now that I’ve dropped that little bit of random along with my thankful thing for the day, I’m going to bed.  Night. =)

Random Bits

IMG_8387ewebSince I’m lacking in eloquent words again today, here’s some pics from K-man’s little party…we didn’t do anything major, but it was still fun.  =)

In case you aren’t fluent in the force, it was a Clone Trooper Rex cake because that’s what he asked for, and we just happened across a Rex voice changer helmet on the clearance rack at wallyworld and decided he would be in love.  LOL.  He was.

IMG_8389eweb

IMG_8390eweb IMG_8391eweb IMG_8410ewebIMG_8417eweb  IMG_8425eweb

I think he liked it.  =)  The other day (before he got the helmet) when we were doing school, I read him the directions for what he was doing and he said, “Aye, aye, captain.”  He is too funny.

Tonight we were playing with the kids (KC and K-man were putting together a Star Wars Lego set and Munchkin and I were making those fuse beads things) and Munchkin tells me, “Mom, yours is going to look so beautiful when you’re finished!”

A couple of seconds later, K-man says, “Mom, you’re going to look so beautiful when my man shoots him.”

Oh…okay then!  =O

Who Invited YOU?

In the car today….Munchkin is jabbering on and on about some movie she watched at school.  I was only half listening (since I’d already heard the whole story at least twice already) and inserting appropriate “uh-huh”s when necessary…

Then out of nowhere, K-man, who has apparently been listening intently to the monologue, breaks in during one of her slight pauses to ask for clarification of her last statement.

“K-man! Who invited YOU to this convaSHA-shun? I’m TALKIN’ to MOMMA!  SHUSH!”

I couldn’t resist.  I had to smile.

But that didn’t hurt his feelings any…he just went right back to playing his game.

Later tonight though…when we went out to celebrate signing adoption papers (FINALLY…almost three years to the day when we got the little dude), K-man was taking a drink of his sprite and I’m pretty sure he didn’t realize he had sprite instead of water.  So he takes this lonnnnng sip and looks at me and in this very offended little voice says, “Mom, this drink makes me CRY!” and I look at him and his eyes are all watery….ROFL!

So his sister can be all rude and it doesn’t bother him, but a little carbonation kills him.

And yay, so happy that the adoption papers are signed and on their way through the process…hopefully about a month or so…

A Single Step

It’s always so much easier to do mindless things than to sit down and actually think about what to say.

But…in the words of somebody named Lao Tzu:

“Do the difficult things while they are easy and do the great things while they are small. A journey of a thousand miles must begin with a single step.”

Whoever Lao Tzu was, he was evidently the optimistic type.  ;-) IMG_8219eBased on that optimistic approach, I could also assume that a blog post must begin with a few words.

I’m just not sure where to go after that.  That requires so much thought…and there-in lies the reason I’ve been such a slack blogger the past few months.  I’m just lacking in thought…well…maybe not….I suppose it would be more accurate to say that I’ve been lacking in thoughts that would be appropriate to post on this blog.  LOL.  So I didn’t.  Aren’t you proud?  ;0)

… … … …IMG_8216e

Okay…maybe you’re just disappointed that I had inappropriate thoughts.

What can I say?  We’re supposed to confess our faults, right?

Happy October!

OMW! I cannot believe it is OCTOBER already?!?!  I am exhausted and I don’t even feel like blogging, but I thought it would be pretty bad to attempt to post every day for the entire month and then quit before I even started.  LOL.

Here’s some random for you:

(while watching my mom – otherwise known as Nonna to the kids – get in her car after spending an hour or so with us) “*sighhh* (very soberly) I just love her.” –K-man

(in the car on the way home from choir night – kids are in quiet time listening to music to settle down so that when we get home they will go right to bed without fuss – and by the way, it worked because K-man had already fallen asleep) “(very quietly) Excuse me? Mom?  I think something VERY bad is going to happen on Monday.”  (What?) “Well, my friend isn’t going to be my friend anymore.  I think she likes my other friend better than me.  And that’s VERY bad.”  -Munchkin

(K-man crying in the car) “I’m crying cause my head hurts.”  (Why does your head hurt?) “My head hurts because I had too much playyyyy.”  -K-man  (Mommy was bad and couldn’t help laughing…lucky for me, he didn’t take offense.)

And there…I think that’s enough words to classify as a post.  Day one – CHECK! =)

Some Days

In life, sometimes you're the bug, sometimes you're the windshield.

The kids watched Space Buddies last night.  That quote from one of the pups is   so appropriate today.

*sigh*

Today I’m definitely the bug.  Splat.
