Brewing

So I love a good cup of coffee…most of the time I love it best when it’s drowned in sweetness and chocolate, but I was thinking about how the longer it brews, the stronger it gets. I’ve got a couple of blog posts brewing in my head and I’m a little worried that the longer they percolate, the stronger they’re going to be. I guess I’ll just have to throw lots of sweetness in there when I get around to blogging it. Hahaha.

In the meantime, I’m still slowly (very slowly) cleaning out my mess of an office. I’ve gone through a bunch of stuff and organized it, and got rid of a tub full of stuff I’m never going to get around to using. I’ve nearly broken my neck a couple of time from using this office this last week, thanks to the obstacle course I’ve created for myself. Step over this box, step across to that one little empty spot on the floor, hop twice, fall into the chair….that’s the idea. Anyway…I’m getting there. Hopefully I’ll get there before I break anything vitally necessary to living. 11947443_10207295335604302_5358032287500261046_n

I had to take a break from cleaning and paint a canvas set for a baby nursery that a friend from church ordered Sunday and needed by today, so that was a fun little distraction. I was a little worried that I wouldn’t get it done in time, but I sketched it out Monday, painted the main parts of it yesterday, and finished the final touches today….in little moments here and there between everything else I have going on.

I think it turned out pretty good. The nursery is superhero themed and primary colors so I hope these will be close to matching. It was quite a challenge finding a surface to paint on since every flat space in my room (including the floor) is pretty much covered…I used the computer keyboard at one point….thankfully I didn’t drip anything or make a mess…lol. KC would have killed me.

Anyway, that’s pretty much all that’s shakin’ around here these days. School is keeping me busy. My third class hasn’t even started yet…when that happens I’m REALLY gonna be busy. Yikes.

Time to get everybody moving for church now, so off I go…

Mini Gardening…

SO I think these lovely herbs will be super for an end of year teacher gift…I helped the kids make them today.  I did the hot-glue parts of course…and they picked out the pieces they wanted to use and put them together.  Both mini-gardens are in $1.00 dishpans from $1-Tree (so approximately 10x12 inches in size…)

This is Munchkin’s:

And K=man’s:

I’m not sure who had more fun putting them together…lololol.  Probably them…because they were less perfectionists about it than I was…lolol.  Oh well.  They both turned out adorable!

OH yes, and all the plants are edible herbs except the one that looks like rosemary (it’s actually lavender and I’m not sure if it’s edible or not…it was just pretty and scented, and they didn’t have any rosemary left…lol).

I ended up having to work on mine a little more, too…the dogs ate the swing.  Twice.  The first time, I fixed it…but then I gave up…and crossed my fingers that the missing wires from the swing fell through the cracks on the porch and didn’t end up in their intestinal tracts…*sigh*  crazy animals.

ANYWAY…speaking of the crazy animals, I have to go walk them again and it’s almost past my bedtime again…so

Goodnight. =)

Winken, Blinken, & Nod

There’s a story to that title….I don’t remember the story, but it seemed like an appropriate title simply for the fact that I’m all three at the moment.  LOL.

It has been a day.  IMG_1255web

First I worked on finishing the Christmas cards.  MAKING them, that is…they are not addressed.  That’s a whole NOTHER item on the to-do list.

Yeah.  78 of them.  Hello, future readers of this blog, directed here by my Christmas card, if you are going back through the archives and find this post…just wanted to say that if you got one of those handmade cards from me, I hope you know you’re special.  ;-)  And if you didn’t get one of those handmade cards from me (and just happened to stumble on this blog by accident), you are probably still special, I just didn’t have your address.  Love, tired but miraculously un-paper-cutted, ME.  =P

Hahaha.

Also today, I made shredded ranch chicken flautas (I’m not sure what those are, I just saw a recipe for them and very loosely followed it from memory…which might mean that it was nothing like flautas and more like chicken buritos…hahaha).

And I let the kids hang out in my craft room and cut paper and color (holding head and moaning…that was torture for my perfectionist self) Just keep doing your thing, Faith, and don’t go help them make cards so that they will actually LOOK like what they’re trying to replicate….yes, I gave myself a version of that pep talk at least once.  Maybe a million.  And I never exaggerate.  EVER.  Much.  Moving on.

Let’s see, I also took a shower and fixed my hair for a family snapshot on our front step.  And then I took the picture….well, actually the camera took it and I just ran around and jumped in….and LOOKED like I ran around and jumped in.  And then the kids were fake smiling and we had to give them a few lessons on smiling…in the freezing cold and then—I totally should copy this into the “christmas letter post” which shall be mentioned in the christmas card so everyone will get the backstory on the photo…lol.

I also edited said photos.  I got two that are reasonable.  Not great, by ANY stretch of the imagination but since I’m my photographer, I feel like I have the right to criticize.  HAHA.

ANYWAY.  I’m tired.  And…blink. blink.            blink.

Nod.

Whaa—huh?  Oh, no, I’m not sleeping, just restin’ my eyes.

But I think I will call it a night now.  =)

Sunday Linkies

Here’s a few things I’ve found on the internets this week that I like and/or want to try…  Since I’m not feeling the creative blogging urge today, I’m substituting.  *grin*

  • This leaf in the frame is from a blog called Cottage Hill…I just like the idea for decor…it’s a thrift store frame redone…I could see this as a group of three hanging in a hallway…not just for fall either…i like it!  =)
  • Here’s a second tutorial from Cottage Hill on the leaf in the frame idea…i LUV it!  Gotta try it!
  • Then there’s this sheet music lamp shade recovering…i like, i like.  It’s from Tending the Nest and she used it as a hanging light, but I could see it used as an actual lampshade, too.   Something about recreating using printed pages just hits my happy spot.  I just like it!
  • An autumn-y front entry by Cleared For Takeoff…I need to do something to ours…I’m thinking a wreath, too, but I’m just not sure what I want.  LOL.  Maybe one that says “I Miss Summer” (LOL)
  • This is just a neat idea for a gift or even for personal use (subway art print from Endless Crafting)…i love the saying!
  • I’ve seen it before, but I really love the block idea (these are by More Than Just Mom).  Oh and by the way, if you read my blog and get a gift from me at any time that looks similar to any of these things, pretend to be surprised, okay?  =)
  • I love furniture re-do’s…they take so much time that I hate tackling them myself, but the finished products are soooo yum…check out this table redo from Hydrangea Home.  I’m totally gonna have to try something like this…SOME DAY!  *grin*  Just not any time soon.  =)

Well, there’s more I’ve been looking at, but the hubs has already hit the sack, and it’s 10:44 and I’m tired myself, so I better get a move on.  =)  Night!

One Day Left

Till Christmas (Eve)...sheesh.

Speaking of Eve, K-man and Munchkin watched Wall-E again a few weeks ago and it cracks me up to hear them, randomly and totally out of the blue, say "Eeeeee-va" and then turn around and say "Waaaaa-leeee" and then "Eeeeee-va" "WALLLL-EEE!"  Hilarious.  They even have that whole tone going, too.  LOL.

So today I got another one of those wild hairs.  Well, actually it was the other day when I stumbled across the idea on the internet while I was trying to come up with some new barbie furniture for the Munchkin's barbie house, but today I followed through on it and picked up some plastic canvas and tried my hand at making plastic canvas barbie furniture.  Carriage1Kitchen

While I may SOMEDAY attempt that awesomely cool carriage, this I know, that the above kitchen is INSANE.  Especially after trying my hand at something simple.  That thing is made entirely of plastic canvas.  Let me just put it this way, I spent approximately 5 hours today on TWO SMALL AND SIMPLE PROJECTS.  I'd have to work 8 hours a day for at least 6 weeks to do something like that.  NO THANK YOU.  Her plastic (not canvas) kitchen will work just fine, thank you very much.

KidsRoom9

However, for what I DID do, I made a bed and a rug today, but mine look NOTHING like these pictures.  I didn't use patterns either, just eyed and experimented (which is probably why they look nothing like the pictures here).  The bed I made kinda resembles the bottom bunk on this picture to the left (only its brown with green headboard/footboards).  And yes, I was going for the bunk bed but decided, after I did the bottom bunk, that perhaps I was overambitious.  LOL.

Thankfully, I went ahead and BOUGHT the barbie table set, so I didn't have to stress over trying to make something complicated in order to replace the table I threw away when I cleaned her room last week.  BUT now there is a Vs2LivingRoom1Christmas bag out in the garage that has a store-bought table and chair set in it and the new bed and rug as a kind of afterthought.  The rug is a smaller (and totally different design) version of the rug in this living room picture to the left...well, really the only thing that is like it is the style (rectangle with fringed ends).  But hey.  It's a rug.  And it's cute.  And the fringe took forever.  Perhaps after Christmas I will post some pictures of my completely (at least in comparison to these pictures) pitiful attempts.

Anywho, I made the bed with her in the room and I was quite surprised that Ms. Extremely Observant didn't pick up on the bed concept, particularly since Mr. Clueless actually showed more interest and walked over while I was making it and wanted to know what it was and I said a bed and then he looked at the computer and was like..."Hey coool, BARBIE FURNITURE."  Strange kid.  I know.  Thankfully, Ms. Observant was NOT in the room at that particular moment or the gig would have been up.  But since she didn't pick up on it, I went ahead and put it in the gift bag for her to open with her other furniture.  *grin*  I'm not sure if I will attempt any other items before Christmas or not.  It does get a little addicting, so it's a possibility.  Depends on the time, I guess.

Seriously though, is this stuff not insane?  I pretty much flipped out when I saw how detailed and cool this looked.  Now that I know the time involved, it looks slightly LESS cool, but still neat.  HAHA.  Oh and all these pictures I grabbed from here (because the group will soon be closing and I didn't want to lose the ideas...LOL).

TravelCaseBedroom1Anyways, maybe if I start now, I could do this travel case bedroom and give her a little doll to go in it for her birthday...I know she would ADORE having something like this to play with in church.  And it would take me at LEAST until her birthday (months down the road) to do something of this scale.  YOW.

Hum.

Well. I think that's it for tonight.  I'm getting a headache.  Quite possibly from the tedious canvassing I did this afternoon. LOL.

I am pretty proud of myself though...I did a bit of laundry today, finished the last bit of shopping, and wrapped the rest of the presents (well, I still have some work to do on gifts for folks OUTSIDE this house, but my covert wrapping skills are no longer needed at least) in addition to the tedious furniture making that I tortured myself with...woohoo!  LOL.  I have totally NOT done any internet catch up though, so I'm off now to check all my favorite blogs and empty my spam folder (since that's all the mail I usually get...LOL).

Later!

My Poor Neglected Blog

I just realized that I have seriously not been posting very many updates.  Brace yourself.

On the gall stones...the test Thursday took two hours.  But I finally heard back from the doctor on Friday and the results of the test were good.  Basically my gall bladder is fine, I just have stones, but they are not affecting the normal functioning of my system, they are just going to irritate the fire out of me until I do something about them.

I haven't figured out what foods I'm eating that is triggering the pain, this is mostly since it hurts EVERY time I eat and it doesn't really matter what I'm eating.

However, since my gall bladder is still functioning normally, the doctor will not force the issue of surgical removal of the stones/body part, it's entirely up to me.

At this point it isn't hurting bad enough to make me want surgery, just enough to drive me nuts.

And that's the major update.

The mini issues like the medicine making me sleepy was resolved...mostly by the fact that I'm not taking it like it's prescribed...now I take it ONLY when I can't take anymore of the part where it drives me nuts.

Other stuff:

I've done really pathetic on my attempt to take one picture every day in December.  Mostly this got sidetracked by all the sick in the house.  That's my excuse and I'm sticking with it.

K-man is driving me CRAZY.  He's gone from sweet thing to rotten booger in a matter of a few weeks.  Fits, bedtime madness, potty regression, hateful responses when you're just talking to him...not even anything he should get mad about.  UGH.  Like you say, do you want your drink? and the response you get is UHHHHRRRRRGHHHH NO! (*EMPHATICALLY*).  I had to go back to diapers because I (and the daycare) got tired of having to change his clothes every time he DIDN'T do it in the potty (like every other time...which ended up being like 5 times a day).  AND THEN the other night at 10:30 (he goes to bed at 8:30) I heard something so I put down my computer and get up to go check and he is sitting right outside his door IN THE HALLWAY with his stuffed animal and drink and is just talking to himself and playing.  I'm like WHAT in the world are you DOING?  He NEVER gets out of bed...we have been so lucky with that.  Not anymore, apparently, since this is like the second or third time he's gotten out of bed in the last few weeks in protest of his having to go to bed.  *SIGH*  He's a great kid, and seriously I love the fire out of him, but I am READY FOR THIS PHASE to be DONE already.  I liked having an angel for a kid.

Munchkin is doing good in general...back in the arguing and not listening stage again, but she's been taking her naps like a TROOPER...which is a huge switch.  Glad SOMETHING is going right!!!  *knock on wood* cuz I don't want it to suddenly go away.  LOL.

I put the K-man's Yukon Express train station together and wrapped it during his naptime today.  I thought it would be a simple snap together thing, and it ended up taking all of naptime and had screws and two page instructions and everything.  It's the wooden kind and it's solid, so hopefully it will stand the test.  It is also compatible with Thomas trains, so we got that set and then I got a couple of Thomas trains to go with it, so he will in seventh heaven.

Somehow, after all my protests about going overboard with gifts for the kids, there is still a huge pile of things for the kids to unwrap on Christmas morning.  Only we're having Christmas the day before, cuz it's not like it's all about the day anyways.  And we have too much else going on ON the day, so it makes more sense.

Anyways, on the overload, my opinion is it is too much -- simply for the fact that it drives me nuts to watch them try to decide what to play with and then they play with each thing for 2 minutes and go through all of the new stuff in half an hour and then they're bored again.  I'd rather give them one thing and have them play with that one thing for 2 hours happily and satisfied with what they have.  TOTALLY MY OPINION.  Not worth much.

However, I do know that once they get over the overload, the things we got them will provide hours of entertainment in which they WILL be satisfied for (hopefully) several hours at a time for the rest of the year...and then some.  Because we (and by we, I mean KC, mostly) picked out some great deals on things we already had in mind to get them to occupy them for hours, they will just have to deal with the overload in order to have those things. LOL.  And by they, I mean ME, cuz I'm pretty sure it bothers ME more than it bothers THEM.  *grin*

Oh well.

Made more goodies for friends and neighbors using the recipe I found here: http://www.chex.com/recipes/RecipeView.aspx?RecipeId=19919&CategoryId=342

Only I doubled the recipe, added random cups of miscellaneous cereals besides Chex (I think I used Golden Grahams and Cheerios as my random cereals).  And I used a lot more powdered sugar than the recipe said...LOL.  Oh well.  It seemed to be a hit.  Munchkin was helping me and she was holding the bag and I wouldn't swear to it, but I am pretty sure she kept moving the bag on purpose so I would keep dropping pieces on the floor.  And the reason I think this, is because she would POUNCE on the dropped pieces and eat them almost before they hit the floor.  LOL.  I'm pretty much assuming it must have been good.  HAHA.

Oh and I've got all but 5 things wrapped. I'm on the ball this year.  Go me.  I even have KC's birthday present and wrapped it, too.  Yay.

I still have a couple of things to pick up and finish making and a couple of homemade cards to make...BUT I'm still way ahead of the game...since last year we had a pile of presents NOT YET WRAPPED and it was like CHRISTMAS EVE and we wrangled my parents into helping us wrap b/c we were in total panic mode.  Yeah.  I'm doing good this year.

Kay.  I'm done now.  I have nothing else to say.  Sorry, that's not quite true...I do have more I'm sure I could say but my goodness....my fingers are tired!!!!!

Thanks for reading...and for bearing with me through my absence.  *GRIN*

Harumph

Well, me and the couch, we have a lifelong relationship now. Best buds, me and the couch. And I have a bad feeling I'm not going to get a chance to end this relationship anytime soon.

I can tell you I'm tired of being tired and I'm tired of not feeling very good. I'm also tired of being worn out from doing the least little things....like putting laundry in the washer. *sigh*

I did make myself get off my bum today and get the stuff for the kids school made and put together and delivered, but it near about killed me. I made this stuff and filled treat bags for the kids in my kids immediate classes and then I saw these and thought they were adorable and looked fairly simple, so I did a few of them for the kids teachers and took the stuff to school for the kids to give out.

Then I brought the kids home and tried to clean up my mess and I've spent the rest of the evening having intense fellowship with the couch.

Then I got the wild hair to redecorate my blog for something a little more icy looking. And now I've got a wild hair to close my eyes...for the millionth time. All these meds the doc put me on make me so sleepy. Aggravating!

Goodnight.

EEK.

Haven't blogged yet and KC is ready for bed and already closed his computer. Must hurry or else I'll lose out on any hope of getting a post every day this week. Haha.

Anywho, can't really say a whole lot tonight cuz it's late and I'm sleepy myself, but I have to say I enjoyed the lesson on the temperaments at church tonight. I am MOST definitely Melancholy and I most definitely married a Choleric. These days, I'm having to spend a lot of time praying cuz it seems like I've had to battle every one of the weaknesses lately. *sigh* I'm talking about the weaknesses in myself, not that I'm battling HIS weaknesses...hahah, although sometimes I do a bit of that, too! LOL. It's okay though, cuz he puts up with all mine. *GRIN*

Tomorrow I have errands to run and a delivery of miniature humans to make and then it's just me and KC for a child-free weekend. Yeehaw for us. Decided to take full advantage of our time and go shopping (well, WINDOW-shopping would probably be more accurate), hit a theme park for some coaster thrills, have a wedding to go to.....you know. Nothing like taking it easy when you have a break. LOL. Nope. Not us.

So anyways, I still have to make a wedding card (i keep putting it off b/c I am feeling SO uncreative right now), need to get the journalling in Grandma's book so that it will be finished and I can mail it (once again, a COMPLETED project EXCEPT for the journalling, which I have procrastinated on AGAIN), clean out the hubby's car (cause we're goin' all the way free and spending our weekend in the sports car...well, you know, not literally, just that's what we're going to drive while the kids are with the grandparents, not like we're gonna sleep in it or anything. LOL!). Yeah, we are going to take full advantage of it just being the two of us and leave the 20mpg family vehicle in the driveway while the kids are away and instead drive the Batmobile which gets, at the very least, 8-10mpg better. I don't know if you might have noticed this in your area or not, but there's a deep hole gouged in my pocket where my gas money used to be. Um...yeah. We'll take advantage of not needing to drive the 8 seater vehicle.

How did I get off on that?

Well, I totally have to hop off here...I stayed busy today doing laundry and getting Grandma's book finished....which didn't happen since I DO NOT WANT TO HANDWRITE THE JOURNALLING (WAH), so tomorrow I will need to get up early again to finish everything up.

Later!

Father's Day

I couldn't decide what to title this post. So here are several alternate titles, just b/c I hate to think of titles and not use them: "He Cried." "Picture Overload" "Did You Miss Me" "Total Withdrawal".....well, obviously I was not having a problem coming up with a title tonight. Anywho.
So here is the famous picture that made his eyes get a teeny bit damp:

I think (MAYBE) you can click on it to see it bigger if you can't read the poem. Poem is one I found on the internet by googling "Daddy's Girl Poems" or something like that.

And then the next picture (I hope it is next...blogger uploads pictures REALLY STRANGE sometimes) is the actual gift...I framed it for him. It turned out very nice. Judging by his reaction, I think he liked it. *grin*

Oh yeah, and pardon the pitiful pictures....I didn't bother taking good pictures of all my projects.

Then there's the Father's Day cards I made for each of the grand-dad's and then the "Top Dad" card for KC.

And one of the wooden handprint pieces that I helped the kids do for the grandpa's.

And now for the picture overload:
We went to both of the parents for a few hours each for Father's Day...well, we beat my inlaws home and while we were waiting around, had some fun with my camera. Until the battery died. Then we contented ourselves to go let the munchkin lock us out of their house while we sat on the front porch swing. LOL. Fun afternoon. *grin*
She was singing and I could NOT get her to stop....she'd say "cheese" and then go right back to singing, so when the camera actually clicked, her mouth was open. ARGH. And we won't even talk about K-man. He is in total defiant stage and would not cooperate for much of anything today, much less photographs. Oh well....I can't post them here anyways.

This is the look I get when I tell her to stop singing.....

AND THEN....you have mommy and daddy through the four-year-old's eyes.

A couple of interesting things to note about this picture....

1. We were ducking to try to get in range of the viewfinder....and she still cut off our heads.

2. Mommy has REALLY long arms.

Then Daddy got hold of the camera....for two last pictures and then it died. And here are the last moments before the death of the battery....

Okay. That's it for picture overload. So are you overloaded? Oh yeah, and did you miss me? We went away to campmeeting, a couple of hours away from home, for the weekend, so I checked my mail Friday morning, and then left my computer at home and didn't even use KC's to check my mail while we were gone. I went almost 2 whole days with NO internet connection. *BIG GOOGLY EYES OF WONDER HERE*

Anywho. Speaking of withdrawals, I have had three. Dr. Peppers. Since last Monday. Count them. One on Friday night, one this morning, and one tonight. All three of those were absolutely necessary. Friday night we stopped and I got a combo and I absolutely refuse to pay for a drink and get water instead. So if I get a combo, I'm getting a drink. Then this morning, well.....K-man had an absolute breakdown while we were checking out of the hotel, which involved him falling to the floor and screaming and refusing to get up (all over the fact that he didn't get to push BOTH buttons in the elevator and had to give munchkin a turn....of all the nerve), and we of course had our hands full b/c we were taking all our stuff back to the car, so I couldn't pick him up.....so I just refused to let go of his hand, and pretty much had to drag him, screaming and crying the whole way, to the car. And then we had to ride halfway to church with him screaming in the car..... Yeah. I NEEDED that Dr. Pepper. And tonight....the combo problem again. Oh well. I think I'm doing pretty good.

It was kinda funny though, this afternoon on the ride home, KC says to me, "Honey, I guess a lot of people from campmeeting must read your blog, cuz a bunch of people kept asking me questions about things that I don't think they'd have known about otherwise." LOL!

I don't really think that many people read here, it might have been from Ringo, cuz there was a lot on there, but news has a way of travelling without anyone reading it on here. *GRIN*

Naughty me, didn't take any pictures over there either. I saw a bunch of people with cameras and saw a lot of flashes, but I don't know if any of those people have anywhere they post their pictures online or not. Oh well.

Other than a few little meltdowns, the kids did remarkably well for sitting through 12 hours of church (5 services) over a span of 2 days....I was pretty impressed.

Well, I think this might be a book now, so I'm gonna hop off.

Help. Me.

I really cannot decide which picture to use. I like them both for different reasons. Oh yeah and credits for the photoshop actions used in these pictures is Pioneer Woman's Action Set....which I LOVE....they are all awesome and best of all, includes a "Start all over" option for when I decide I don't like the direction it's going.

Anyways.....I guess I could print one on a card and then frame the other for his gift....but which one? HELP!

Monday Messages - The Headache Edition

Dear Blog,
Woohoo, this is post #497. I have almost put you over the 500 post mark. Are you excited yet? Hehe...I didn't think so.
Love,
AlwaysFaith

Dear K-man's potential birth dad,
Please don't be his dad, please don't want him, please don't take him. I know foster parents are supposed to support re-unification, but you've never been in his life to start with, so how can it be better for him to go to you instead of staying with us. Please don't let this pan out.
Sincerely,
Praying he'll be ours

Dear Rest of the people who want the K-man,
Look, I understand why you want him, he's a great kid, but can't you see how great he's doing here? We love him and I know this makes me a terrible foster parent, but personally, I think this is the best place for him. Please don't try to take him.
Sincerely,
Praying he'll be ours

Dear hubby,
Don't let it get you down, I know you are the bomb and you know you are a genious at what you do. Don't let those people who don't know what they're talking about get you down. Just keep swimming, just keep swimming, just keep swimming, swimming, swimming.......
Love always,
Your Dory

Dear Munchkin,
*SIGHHHHHH*
Love,
Mom

Dear Headache,
GO AWAY. You are making my head hurt. Oh. Right. Yeah, that's what you're S'POSED to do. *sigh* Well, I'm not liking it, so could you stop? Thanks.
The head

Dear body,
STOP FALLING APART. You are only 24, for crying out loud. At this rate, you won't survive to see 50. Better start taking those vitamins that your dad swears by....LOL.
Love,
Your brain

Dear Cookies in a Jar,
You are a lot harder to make than it sounded like on the instructions. I think you are the cause of my headache. I sure hope whoever gets these for Christmas appreciates the backbreaking two hours I spent putting them together. LOL. And if anyone who reads this blog gets one of you, then they better do two things....act surprised and be very thankful for my effort. I know you're not finished yet, so just be patient until I can get the rest of the supplies and get you taken care of. Thankfully, you are much more quieter while you wait than the kids. *grin*
Love,
Your creator

Dear Bed,
Is it just my imagination or are you screaming extra loud for me to join you tonight??? Me thinks if you get much louder, you're going to wake the kids, and you know we don't want THAT to happen, so I guess I will get off of here and go appease you. *smiles*
Love,
Sleepy & Tired

Dear Expensive Self Cleaning Litter Box,
You better do your job. The cats have started going elsewhere again. I will be very mad if you have lost your appeal this fast after we spent that rediculous amount of money on you so that the kitty kats would quit urinating and defecating in places that do not contain litter. Don't make me hurt you! I'm mean, you know.
Very seriously,
Not kidding

Dear Self,
Go NOW. BEFORE THE BED WAKES UP THE KIDS with it's screaming at you!!!
Love,
The extremely tired You
