So I love a good cup of coffee…most of the time I love it best when it’s drowned in sweetness and chocolate, but I was thinking about how the longer it brews, the stronger it gets. I’ve got a couple of blog posts brewing in my head and I’m a little worried that the longer they percolate, the stronger they’re going to be. I guess I’ll just have to throw lots of sweetness in there when I get around to blogging it. Hahaha.
In the meantime, I’m still slowly (very slowly) cleaning out my mess of an office. I’ve gone through a bunch of stuff and organized it, and got rid of a tub full of stuff I’m never going to get around to using. I’ve nearly broken my neck a couple of time from using this office this last week, thanks to the obstacle course I’ve created for myself. Step over this box, step across to that one little empty spot on the floor, hop twice, fall into the chair….that’s the idea. Anyway…I’m getting there. Hopefully I’ll get there before I break anything vitally necessary to living.
I had to take a break from cleaning and paint a canvas set for a baby nursery that a friend from church ordered Sunday and needed by today, so that was a fun little distraction. I was a little worried that I wouldn’t get it done in time, but I sketched it out Monday, painted the main parts of it yesterday, and finished the final touches today….in little moments here and there between everything else I have going on.
I think it turned out pretty good. The nursery is superhero themed and primary colors so I hope these will be close to matching. It was quite a challenge finding a surface to paint on since every flat space in my room (including the floor) is pretty much covered…I used the computer keyboard at one point….thankfully I didn’t drip anything or make a mess…lol. KC would have killed me.
Anyway, that’s pretty much all that’s shakin’ around here these days. School is keeping me busy. My third class hasn’t even started yet…when that happens I’m REALLY gonna be busy. Yikes.
Time to get everybody moving for church now, so off I go…
